How to use the JN-80 Editor / Librarian
- Connect your JN-80 to your computer and power on. Open the editor/librarian and select your JN-80 and MIDI channel in the app. It's recommended to use MIDI over USB and the editor should open when your JN-80 is selected.
- If you're not using USB, plug in both MIDI IN and OUT on your JN-80 and select your generic MIDI device in the select box and click OPEN WITHOUT USB.
- Begin by populating the patch list in the INTERNAL BANKS. Do so by pressing the Refresh List in the left panel. NOTE. Refreshing and clearing the list is only cached data in this editor and will not affect the unit at all.
- It's highly recommended to use Google Chrome but might work with any browser that supports the MIDI API, such as Firefox.
